My Hometown: A Distribution Hub for Illegal Marijuana
Oh joy! Why is this story important? Because this is El Paso County, Colorado (where I live) and our City, as well as our County, opted OUT of retail marijuana. But that doesn't pertain to "legal" home grows, which have become the direct supplier for the black market.
Legalization that includes home grow options (and they ALL do) is NOT about regulation or control, it's about propagating rampant out-of-control marijuana distribution around the U.S. For all of those who are ticked off about Jeff Sessions revoking the Cole Memo ... *THIS* is what he is trying to STOP. Black Market funneling from "legal" states which is a FEDERAL violation. Now, #doyourjobDOJ
